Broom Fisheries This is a most popular area for outdoor activities, especially fishing. Broom is located just over a mile from here, so you can enjoy a day in the quiet pursuits. Drumlanrig Castle - Gardens & Country Park We visited Drumlanrig last year and went on the landrover experience. We had a fabulous time and the ranger gave us interesting and informative information completing the whole Drumlanrig picture. During our 'safari' we stopped and had refreshments provided by the ranger. We can't recommend Drumlanrig and the Landrover experience highly enough. Westlands Activities Steve visited the Westland centre with friends and had an enjoyable afternoon in the harmless pursuit of shooting at clay pigeons. A stag party that stayed here also entertained themselves by shooting at each other! (with paint balls - in case you got worried there). A father and his son residing here pitted their wits against each other on the race track and other energetic activities over the course of a couple of days. Everyone had a great time and all threaten to go back. Lonsdale City Cinema in Annan Everything good comes in small packages and our local cinema is no exception. All new popular movies shown!
